Face with bird over eye

Color Collage Gallery
After placing a Japanese straw bird over this mannequin’s eye in a black & white photograph, I scanned it (using a video camera in those early computer days). During that primitive time before quality printers hit the scene, the only way to get a decent print of computer art was to set up a camera on a tripod, cover it and the photographer with a heavy black cloth to blot out reflections and photograph the image directly on the computer screen. Which often added screen texture to the mix.
